It’s like the server is still managing the download even though the file should be downloading from google drive. The way I understand it, and maybe I’m wrong, is that with these plug-ins the complete download traffic is referred to Google Drive and NOT handled by the website server anymore, right? In other words what kind of server I’m using shouldn’t matter because they’re not the ones handling the download request?īut what I’m seeing is that the download is just as fast and just as likely to fail with and without the plug-in. I could browse files in my google drive from WordPress and could assign them to products. I believe the configuration was all correct and it was very easy to do. I did not experience these problems until AFTER switching hosting to Hostinger from Siteground.
